Lately, I've been using a lot of red in my paintings. I use pigment red and glue. What I'm thinking while mixing paints. Why am I actively using red now? Red is a vibrant color associated with passion, energy, and intensity. Red represents the earth. The pigment that exists on earth is iron oxide. Iron oxide turns red. Red is thought to be the coagulated blood of the earth. Well, I like red like that. Red is a seductive and easily perceived color, and of the visible rays of the light spectrum, red refracts the fastest on the retina. It's probably instinctual to be drawn to the color red, which attracts the eye and arouses desire. And it is very interesting to know the history of red in ancient times.
